The Black Belt Club is a program implemented at many karate Studios
across the country.   New England Karate Academy has implemented the
Black Belt Club in order to recognize under black belt students that
show a consistent pursuit of excellence in their martial arts training.

Students admitted into the Black Belt Club will have their name
engraved on a special plaque on display in the studio and will receive
a special uniform patch.

In order to be in the Black Belt Club a student must be under 17 years old,
hold the rank of blue belt or higher, attend classes on a 2 to 3 day a week
basis and consistently demonstrate the below traits and qualities.

Respect for their instructors, fellow students and parents.

Self control and self discipline.

A high degree of self directed effort and motivation.

Shows good sportsmanship.

Has a willingness to help others.
